Ok I am not sure what 2007 will bring to all you guys and girls.. But I am sure we are going to see some seriously cool templates from Rocket Theme. The January template just got released and wow talk about details and features....

Andy just launched Sporticus - a sports template but also a template that could be used as a news site or similar. I know JoomlArt released a sports template some time ago, but I think you will agree that Rocket Theme almost hit the theme 100% with his release.

Click the read more link to check out the features...

  • Light and lean Sports/News oriented style
  • 2 complete template versions, regular and dark
  • Each template version has 4 background, 4 main color, and 2 background color choices for 32 color configurations out-of-the-box. So between the 2 versions there are 64 total color configurations! What other template can offer that kind of versatility!
  • Great typographic content styles and custom hilight module
  • Brand new 3 level split menu. This menu uses 2 levels horizontally, and a 3rd level vertically.
  • 12 fully collapsible module positions
  • 3 included custom modules including RT Scroller - a horizontal headlines scroller; RT Slideshow - an Ajax/Mootools based slideshow; RT Login Custom login module.
    Live Search with keyboard navigation
  • Integration and styling for Slimbox - a faster leaner alternative to LightBox 2.0 utilizing a highly optimized and compressed version of the mootools javascript library
  • Fully compatible IE6, IE7, Safari 2, Firefox 1.5+, Opera 9, OmniWeb, Shira, Netscape.
It's hard to explain all these awesome functions, so head over to Rocket Theme and check 'em out!
