Well it's a new month in the calendar and that means lost souls shaking over at the RocketTheme Templateclub. But your needs for new drugs are over, the Februar template called Vortex has just been released.

It's called a portal style template but as always RocketTheme delivers a very neutral design, so the template will suit a lot of sites. To be honest I am not a big fan of changing templates all the time. I like to find a good solid one and use that for a long period, and I really thought my Sargas template from JoomlArts was one of those.... But Vortex just got the edge and it will be my next template for the time to come. And saying it has the edge is really a small lie.. Vortex blows away ANY competition whatsoever.

The template comes with some great features. Features that are usefull and not just eyecandy. The new button menu is one of those nice features. To be honest I was getting a little tired with the usual text menus but this new button menu is great looking but also gives a good visual help content wise. You get loads of sample buttons easy to implement but it's not that hard to make some new ones - if that's needed.

Another feature I really like is the new tabbed interface. It makes a lot of content fill just a tiny bit and breaks up the usual Joomla boxed look. It's not a totally new invention at all, but it's soooo well integrated that it would be hard to do your self.

And of course lots of module positions, colour options etc. all the stuff we have come to love about RocketTheme.
