I know a lot of people is running VirtueMart as their prefered shopping option for Joomla. Not a lot of templates are well suited for that extension and to be honest look very boring quite often. Template Plazza is about to change that with their new template called Modrena Plazza.

Although this template can be used as a normal Joomla template, Template Plazza have done a lot to make VirtueMart fit in this template in a very clean and good looking way. A custom looking shopping cart, nice presentation of products. The template also got the Web 2.0 look that is very popular right now - nice big fonts, bright colours and a good deal of white space. Go to their site and have a look. If I was about to run a Joomla shop with VirtueMart I would not hesitate to give Template Plazza a shot - great template!
