Thank God I'm not a template club owner! PDF Print E-mail

Yes you heard me right - Thank God I'm not a template club owner! EVERY month you have to make a new template, with new features, new design and colours. We the customers demand that - we want it to be Christmas EVERY month. Long gone are the days where it would be enough just to pull out some good looking colours and we would be happy.. Last months template should look outdated when the new one comes...

Today I can't help myself and need to mention the new template from JoomlArt called JA Utahia. What a modern looking template they just released. Especially the red one seems VERY striking and with a lot of potential.

The template is mainly build with a left column and a main content area. When only using one side column you get good width, so modules and menus doesn't look cramped. There is a new menu system included with some nice icons that change size when you hover over 'em just like you see on a Mac desktop for instance - nice touch.

New typographic elements have been added so you once more got a lot of great pre-formated text styles to play with. I really dig the new ways that you can format your "block quotes" - with styles that you normally find in cartoons...

And there is so much more. The normal "code" format has also been changed so it gets a nice "tab" instead of the usual borders.. Classy stuff.

Looking for a clean and modern Joomla template Utahia might just be the one. I am sure we will soon see a lot of sites using this template.

What JoomlArt will do next month when they need to do an even more "WOW" template is not something I would like to think about. Thank God I am not a template club owner..

You can find JoomlArt here.

I actually did not think that the new joomlart template was good. It looked like a sloppy mock up web 2.0 design. But then again, I am prejudice towards Joomlart as I believe that their demos are poorly designed smilies/grin.gif
