Control your Joomla frontpage PDF Print E-mail

Ever wondered how you can control the amount of articles, columns and article links on the front page? I often forget where it is controlled, mainly because I always think it's in the Frontpage Manager - but nope it's not there.

ImageNavigate to the top bar of your admin area, and chose "Menu / main menu". After that you will be presented with the menu items in the main menu. Click on the link called "Home" and a lot of options gets visible.

On the right look for these options as they control the look of the articles presented:

  • Leading
  • Intro
  • Columns
  • Links

And remember it's more fun to do this with a Pro template from the Rocket Theme Club.

Have fun!

As simple as that was, I never could figure out how to hide the title of my frontpage item.

Thanks!
